It is almost impossible to spoil the graphics in dinosaur’s game. ARK Survival Evolved looks like a real childhood fantasy that came to life… or into your screen. It does not match the scientific facts we already know, but this is a greatness of the game. We can have dinosaurs, wooly mammoth, and other extinct or never existing species in one company (no jokes about the dinosaur, mammoth and dodo are sitting in the bar).
Landscapes are worth to be mentioned as well. Caves with hot lava, jungles, mountains, desserts, and these are not even all locations in the game. Dinosaurs’ madness here we come!

This is survival game, so no wonder that it starts on a beach of the mysterious island, with no weapon, minimum clothes and complete chaos around you. While the island looks lovely itself, it is not what terrifies. Gigantic dinosaurs that look so real, mammoths, and some unknown beasts live on the island.
Basic needs like eat or drink may be hard to fulfill as long as there are so many dangers outside. The best option for you is to look around, find more or less peaceful place and start building a castle from stones. After several days in the game, you may finish it, learning how to kill different types of monsters in-between building.
Closer to the end, if you will complete all tasks, receive bonuses, and still be alive, you can have huge fortress from steel with electricity and gas. Evolution in the game comes with new levels, which sometimes are really hard to pass. If you want to make it easy for you, team-up with friends, and survive together.
Be aware that online, on public PVP you are playing among others as well. And while some of them can help you, others may ruin your barricades or take your stuff on purpose. It is better to get familiar with the company around you.

At last, in the ARK Survival Evolved review we must tell that it uses the same controls as most games for PC use. It is the usual for us WASD keys, Left and Right Shifts to run, Space to jump. If you want to crouch press C, prone X. Navigate camera with K or scroll mouse up and down for zooming.
Remember that if you want to talk to you tribe, press / and it will be heard to all your allies. Insert is for talking in a local chat. Don’t press Z unless you want to see your character defecating. Why have they even decided we need this option?

The game takes a lot of time just to go to the middle level and make peace with your conscience for killing all these adorable but deadly dinosaurs. You also need to start building fortress no one could ruin, get armor in numerous quests, make friends.
After the game will be over, you will be left with the feeling that there are so many things you still can do, so much places to explore, stuff to gather. And sooner or later you will return to the island, because it already feels like home.
